The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZLDAX-W6RB or 489ZLDAXW6RB, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path compared to adapter-mounted designs. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load capacity, and its internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. The round output shaft measures 1-1/4" with a key. The series covers intermittent torque ratings of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP.
