The Chelsea 489ZQDAX-W5XD or 489ZQDAXW5XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and uses a wire/cable mechanical shift. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
