The Chelsea 892JAFJW-B3XY or 892JAFJWB3XY is a hydraulic hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 892 Series, designed specifically for Allison 4700 Series transmissions. The 892 Series is a single-unit design, not a PTO with a separate extension. The main shaft is one-piece, eliminating the input splines between the PTO body and the output extension. The clutch is positioned at the rear of the PTO housing, allowing the gear section to sit tightly against the transmission for better frame rail clearance. An additional support bracket at the rear of the transmission supplements the standard side-mount configuration. The wet spline output is compatible with pumps requiring extended shaft life in high-cycle applications such as fire and rescue, snow and ice, and aerial work trucks.
