The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off, part number 897MFFJW-M5XS or 897MFFJWM5XS, is a constant-engagement PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting design positions the SAE C output flange at the rear of the transmission, moving the pump interface rearward to improve clearance between the pump and the frame rail. A one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO body and the output extension, and wet spline technology at the output extends service life under demanding duty cycles.
