The Chelsea 897RDFJW-M5XY or 897RDFJWM5XY is a constant-engagement (constant mesh) power take-off built for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the pump output flange to the rear of the transmission, creating clearance that a standard side-mounted PTO cannot provide. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines between the PTO and the output extension, and the SAE C output flange uses wet-spline technology to extend pump shaft life in demanding cycles. Continuous torque reaches 670 ft-lb (check application pages for actual ratings); intermittent torque is rated at 501+ ft-lb. Shaft power output at 1,000 RPM reaches 128 HP.
