The Chelsea 897REFJW-M5AF or 897REFJWM5AF is a constant-mesh power take-off from the Chelsea 897 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 897 Series moves the PTO pump mounting flange to the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing and gear section tightly against the transmission for improved pump clearance within the frame rail. The output uses Chelsea's wet spline technology, which extends service life on both the PTO and pump shaft in demanding duty cycles.
