The Chelsea 897UEFJW-M5XS or 897UEFJWM5XS is a constant-engagement (constant mesh) power take-off built for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting configuration and one-piece main shaft allow the unit to sit tightly between the transmission and the frame rail, positioning the SAE C pump flange at the rear of the transmission for improved pump clearance without requiring a separate extension. Wet Spline Technology on the output shaft reduces wear on the PTO and pump shaft in demanding duty cycles. Continuous torque rating is 670 ft-lb (908 Nm); intermittent torque exceeds 501 ft-lb.
