The Chelsea 899HCFJW-M5XS or 899HCFJWM5XS is a constant-mesh power take-off engineered for the Allison 4700 Series transmission. Mounting via a 10-bolt pattern, it positions the pump output flange at the rear of the transmission so the housing tucks tightly against the frame rail, giving working space where standard side-mount PTOs run out of clearance. The SAE C output shaft uses Wet Spline Technology to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft splines under demanding duty cycles. Continuous-duty torque reaches up to 670 ft-lbs; intermittent torque is rated above 501 ft-lbs. Typical applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue, refuse trucks, and truck cranes.
