The Chelsea 912AHAD-AXXGA or 912AHADAXXGA is a 912 Series split shaft power take-off designed for Class 7 and Class 8 trucks running automatic transmissions with limited or no direct transmission PTO openings. Mounted in the driveline between the transmission and rear axle, this gear box features three 8-bolt openings, allowing multiple auxiliary Chelsea PTOs to be driven simultaneously. Input and output connections are available in SPL-170, SPL-250, 1610, 1710, or 1810 series flange configurations, or a no-flange option. The unit can also be mounted in reverse for creep-drive capability. Common vocational applications include pumper-cleaner trucks, fire and rescue vehicles, and tire service units.
