Additional Information

The 912 Series split shaft gear box is built for Class 7 and 8 vocational trucks with automatic transmissions and limited or no PTO openings on the transmission. Mounting in the driveline between the transmission and rear axle, this unit also addresses design challenges for driven equipment positioned at the rear of the vehicle. Six input/output options are available, including SPL-170, SPL-250, 1610, 1710, and 1810 series flanges attached to the unit or a no-flange option. The 912 can also be mounted in reverse, allowing the vehicle to creep-drive back through the split shaft. Common applications include pumper cleaners, fire and rescue vehicles, and tire service trucks. Markets served include oil and gas, mobile, vocational, and municipal.
