The Chelsea 912AHYA-AXXHA or 912AHYAAXXHA is a 912 Series split shaft power take-off gear box designed for Class 7 and 8 trucks with automatic transmissions that have only one or no PTO openings on the transmission. It mounts between the transmission and rear axle, delivering 56+ HP (51+ kW) and intermittent torque ratings above 501 lb-ft. The lever shift mechanism engages a 2-3/4" 10-tooth spline output shaft. Three 8-bolt openings let you run multiple pieces of driven equipment simultaneously, and the unit accepts a wide range of 6-bolt, 8-bolt, PowerShift, and Reversible Chelsea PTOs. Six input/output flange options include SPL-170, SPL-250, 1610, 1710, and 1810 Series, plus a no-flange configuration. The 912 can also be mounted in reverse for creep-drive applications.
