The Chelsea 221 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 221ZCAKP-M3XK or 221ZCAKPM3XK, is a 6-bolt mounted PTO built for low-speed, heavy-duty applications including dump trucks, tow and recovery, and aerial equipment. It uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Hino, and others. The cast iron housing is available in standard or low-profile configurations, and greaseable pump shafts help resist spline fretting and corrosion.
