The Chelsea 252GDHVX-B5P71 or 252GDHVXB5P71 PTO assembly is a hydraulic-shift power take-off with a 6-bolt mount and a 1" round output shaft with key, built for Allison and RAM transmissions. A hydraulically actuated PTO can be shifted in while the transmission is running, and its usual job is to drive a hydraulic pump for equipment on work trucks. Intermittent torque is 101-200 lb-ft and output power is 25 HP and below. Chelsea designed the 252 Series with a single hose connection and an integrated cartridge valve in place of remote solenoids and multiple hoses, and lists it for tow and recovery, tire service, dump and aerial trucks.
