The Chelsea 272 Series PTO Assembly, part number 272XAAJX-13BD or 272XAAJX13BD, is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off designed for medium-duty truck applications in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck markets. This unit supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift. The 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single platform, offering nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. An integral air control valve is included. Direct mount outputs can be specified with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended pump shaft life.
