The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XGAJX-D5RY or 272XGAJXD5RY, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications across towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck markets. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Ford, Aisin, and RAM platforms, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit includes an integral air control valve. Continuous torque rating reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW).
