281GBFJP-G5RY Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GBFJP-G5RY or 281GBFJPG5RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. An evolution of the 280 Series, it incorporates a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% increase in steel disc thickness within the clutch pack. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a positive stop for driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. Nine speed ratios cover low and high speed applications. A Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
