The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 281GBFJP-K5XD or 281GBFJPK5XD, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. This unit carries a single, continuous duty torque rating and offers nine speed ratios including both low and high speeds. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational effects. An 80% increase in steel disc thickness within the clutch pack resists premature tooth wear.
