The Chelsea 281GDFJW-G8RY or 281GDFJWG8RY is a Power Take-Off assembly built around several measurable upgrades over standard PTO designs. The ductile iron bearing cap is rated 117% stronger than gray iron. An O-ring sealing configuration reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load compared to conventional seal designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed requirements, and a single continuous-duty torque rating simplifies spec matching. Rotatable, cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop to eliminate oil seal damage from coupling. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects downstream equipment, while the SmartStart feature reduces shock load at start-up.
