The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 281GGFJP-B3RZ or 281GGFJPB3RZ, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used with Allison transmissions. This series delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating with nine available speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and the clutch pack uses steel discs 80% thicker than the previous 280 Series to resist premature tooth wear. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibrational effects. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference fitment issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Hose is included.
