The Chelsea 281GGFJP-H3RS or 281GGFJPH3RS is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot-shift power take-off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. Built as an evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc for improved durability against engine vibration. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges, and rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference with pump installations.
