The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GGFJP-N5AC or 281GGFJPN5AC, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. Built as an evolution of the 280 Series, it carries a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios span low and high ranges. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges as well as driveline configurations.
