281GGFJV-D8RY Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GGFJV-D8RY or 281GGFJVD8RY is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot-shift Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. It carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and delivers 74 HP at 1,000 RPM. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and the clutch pack features steel discs that are 80% thicker than the previous 280 Series design. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibration.
