The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GMFJP-B5BV or 281GMFJPB5BV, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. The 281 Series is an evolution of the proven 280 Series, with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. The series carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and supports output shaft options including driveline and multiple SAE pump flange configurations. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed needs. Available with a Wet Spline Lubrication option for 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
