281GPFJP-B8XV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off (part number 281GPFJP-B8XV or 281GPFJPB8XV) is a hydraulically shifted, hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series builds on the proven 280 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibrational effects, and an enhanced clutch pack with steel discs 80% thicker than the previous design. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fit issues, and the Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs prevents oil seal damage from coupling contact. Hose is included.
