281GTFJP-B8XV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GTFJP-B8XV or 281GTFJPB8XV, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. It mounts to SAE B pump flange, SAE C pump flange, ISO 7652 pump flange, or driveline outputs, giving it broad application across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane work. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. The 281 Series improves on the 280 Series with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration for better clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc for reduced tooth wear.
