281GPKVP-D3RY Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GPKVP-D3RY or 281GPKVPD3RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly found on Allison transmissions. This series delivers up to 390 lb-ft continuous torque and offers nine speed ratios spanning low and high ranges. Key engineering updates over the predecessor 280 Series include a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker steel clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce pump clearance conflicts, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
