The Chelsea 282GBAJX-13RB or 282GBAJX13RB is a 282 Series medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly with an 8-bolt mounting configuration and a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), making it adaptable across a range of truck vocations. The 282 Series is rated for intermittent torque from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm) and carries a continuous-duty torque capability up to 300 lb-ft. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller, among others. The Smart Start option supports high-torque engagement, and an optional wet-spline configuration extends PTO and pump shaft service life.
