The Chelsea 282GDAJX-B3XD or 282GDAJXB3XD is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for continuous-duty operation up to 300 lb-ft. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key, and shift is accomplished through either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation, and the integral air valve simplifies the pneumatic circuit. The Smart Start option supports high-torque engagement without shock loading.
