The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GGAJX-A3RZ or 282GGAJXA3RZ, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-cycle applications. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built into the unit. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Direct-mount outputs include an optional Wet-Spline configuration for longer pump shaft life. Driveshaft output versions incorporate a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. The Smart Start option is available for applications requiring high-torque engagement at start-up.
