The Chelsea 282GPAJX-13XD or 282GPAJX13XD is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding continuous-duty cycles. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, with an integral air valve built in. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key and handles continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other OEM configurations. Common applications include aerial work, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery.
