The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GSAJX-13RK or 282GSAJX13RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO with pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. The 282 Series supports continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Compatible with Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other transmission manufacturers. The integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and Smart Start option for high-torque start-up make this assembly well-suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
