The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282GSAJX-V3RF or 282GSAJXV3RF, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding vocational applications including aerial work, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and delivers a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); check the Chelsea application pages to confirm the de-rated torque rating for your specific installation. Shaft power output is 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges, an integral air valve, and an optional Wet-Spline output are built into the 282 Series design.
