The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XDAJX-B3RK or 282XDAJXB3RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft featuring a 5/16" key, and accepts either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. Continuous-duty torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) for this series, with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output is 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series design includes rotatable flanges, an integral air valve, and an optional Wet-Spline configuration for extended PTO and pump shaft service life.
