The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XMAJX-13RK or 282XMAJX13RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 282 Series is part of Parker Chelsea's redesign of medium-duty hot shift PTOs, combining the best elements of the 238 Series with updated internals capable of handling up to 300 lb-ft intermittent or continuous. The series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. Direct mount outputs include an optional Wet-Spline configuration for extended PTO and pump shaft life. Driveshaft outputs include a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. Typical application markets include aerial lift, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and home fuel oil delivery trucks.
