The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-13XV or 282XPAJX13XV, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications. It shifts via pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and delivers output through a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. The 282 Series carries a continuous-duty torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, optional wet-spline lubrication, and a Smart Start feature for high-torque start-up are built into the series design.
