The Chelsea 442 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 442LRFNX-A5XQ or 442LRFNXA5XQ, is a 6-bolt mount PTO built for light-to-medium duty vocational applications including tow trucks, dump trucks, service trucks, and aerial units. This unit uses air shift actuation. The output is an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft, and the mounting configuration is deep mount. Lubrication is splash-type with no pressure lube circuit. The cast iron housing and tapered cone bearings on the output shaft are characteristic of the 442 Series, which the manufacturer rates at up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and up to 55 HP output power.
