The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFITX-A3RA or 489GFITXA3RA, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path at the bell face. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); output power reaches 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with or without key. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard; an electric-over-air shift option is also available.
