The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFITX-A5RB or 489GFITXA5RB, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The wire/cable mechanical shift option and kit-style construction simplify installation and service.
