The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHAHX-A3AZ or 489GHAHXA3AZ, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for this series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of hydraulic pump connections. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load handling. An electric-over-air shift option and 27 output configurations make the 489 a versatile fit across utility, dump, snow/ice, and fire-rescue applications. Call us to confirm proper fit for your transmission.
