The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XLITX-A3AZ or 489XLITXA3AZ is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an 8-bolt mounting configuration that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with keyway. Shaft power output is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
