The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GRAHX-V3GB or 489GRAHXV3GB, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built for most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series. Output is delivered through a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key option). Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
