The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489KHAHX-A3RB or 489KHAHXA3RB, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), and the output is a rotatable SAE B 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal components are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies servicing.
