The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489KLAHX-V3AF or 489KLAHXV3AF, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. Wire/cable mechanical shift actuation comes standard, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in the 489 Series. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. Intermittent torque capacity matches the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
