The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489KSAHX-S3XD or 489KSAHXS3XD, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and the wire/cable mechanical shift gives straightforward PTO engagement. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
