The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-A3AZ or 489XCAHXA3AZ, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on other designs, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with keyway) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series. Tapered output bearings handle radial loads that needle-bearing designs cannot.
