The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-V3XQ or 489XCAHXV3XQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift actuation on this unit is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
