The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-A5XR or 489XFAHXA5XR, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power measures 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
