The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFITX-V3RA or 489XFITXV3RA, bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate needed on some earlier designs, reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air option available. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the 442 Series and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range.
