The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A3GZ or 489XHAHXA3GZ, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with keyway. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability, and internal parts are common with the 442 Series. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
