The Chelsea 489XHITX-A3XK or 489XHITXA3XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. Shift is air shift. Output is an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); check application pages for your confirmed torque rating. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
